hey guys, im new here just like to post a little race i had with a 350z... i have quite a few modifications so the race wasnt even close, however, those cars of yours are beautiful... and stock performance is VERY impressive.... i cant wait till turbo kits become more common for the 350z and im positive they are capable of amazing numbers =)

Welcome to the board, thanks for the nice words. You've got a pretty nice car yourself What kind of mods? Sheesh, does it need 'em? hah, those things are crazy powerful already! We have quite a few non-Z folks here that post regularly, so stick around, it's a really active board that is good for just general car talk on top of 350z discussions.

blades i have the same mods as you , except i have the billetflow idler and the magnaflow x pipe with a borla catback... oh i also have a diablosport wideband tune.....

nope ~14 to 15 all the way to redline bro.. I have a 74 inch NAPA belt. Pretty soon mid length headers and nitrous are going on. As well as nitto drag radials.. and the KB will be on late May..

how is the gearing for the cobras. i read somewhere on the board that the gearing for gt's suck..

 

i dont quite understand what you mean by suck.... do you mean bad for traction? or too long, and hurts acceleration

 

Jesus, what do you guys get in the 1/4 mile? Check out the 350Z vs. Tiburon thread. The guy mentions how some kid said he raced his tiburon vs. a 97' cobra for emblems, and won! Stupidity can be funny stuff.

blades if your looking for a good mod i suggest the JLP ram air... i love it, aesthetically great, and there is a pretty good SOTP gain
