Default 350Z vs Suzuki GSXR 600

We finally got some nice weather here in PA so I decided to wash the Z last night and do some cruising. I was looking for a race, and as usual I didn't see anyone that wanted to mess around so I decided to head home. I hit a red light and I was hoping for something good to pull up, but another monster SUV pulls up beside me, but I see a bike roll up behind him. I take off from the light easy to see what the guy on the bike is going to do. The guy in the SUV decides to tuck in behind me, and I hear the guy on the bike downshift and he flies up next to me and starts pacing me. I could tell he wanted to go since he left the bike in a low gear so the motor was revving, plus he had a pipe so it was pretty loud. I KNEW I was going to get killed, but I decided to drop it into third and have some fun. As soon as I nailed it he did the same, and I couldn't believe what happened - we were dead even starting out, and on top end I even started to pull.
I could hear the guys bike screaming so I know he was trying, but I have no idea how I managed to pull on him. We got the next stoplight and looked over and flipped up his helmet and said, "Damn, that thing is quick!" He was pretty cool and we exchanged a few compliments about each other's rides before the light went. He didn't launch, but he stayed right beside me, and when we hit about 10 mph we both punched it. He pulled on me in first, and when I shifted into 2nd I caught rubber and the VDC ended my fun and he pulled away.
I know some people are probably going to call BS on this, but this is what happened. I know a GSXR 600 can destroy a Z, but I guess he could have been in a wrong gear and a win is a win!

Hehehe...nice kill. Yeah he was definitely in the wrong gear. Or he didn't know how to ride. My gixxer 600 would obliterate my Z. I know this becuase I have raced everything from Z06's and 911 turbos on the freeway and I always beat them. But after 140mph they start catching up. But your right, its the street and a kill is a kill.

Not doubting it, just saying that probably 75% of the people on sportbikes have almost zero idea how to ride. I know this from first hand unfortunate experience.

Especially the ones who's usual riding gear includes the wife beaters, the teva or birkenstock sandals, and baseball hat turned backwards (so wind doesn't blow it off).
