I generally think these whole "kill" threads are pretty stupid, but seeing as how my E46 M3 thread was such a hit... I figured my second interesting "toying" would be a nice change from the thousand camaro, accord, mustang, rsx, eclipse, TA threads that are posted each day.

I was heading to Fry's, with a buddy of mine, about 1/4 tank of gas. For those in Austin, I was North on Mopac where it just turns into 1325, about to turn left to go south onto Mopac, past Parmer. I pulled up behind a black Carrera (no other badging, such a pain to tell what Porsche is what half the time). His plates were "4KURVES". We took the left onto 1325/Mopac, and he takes off, with me right on him in case he took off. Pulled a few lengths on me before hitting the first light, which was green, mainly the initial jump (and how distance is magnified at speed). We got both maneuvered the few cars we encountered without being idiots, then took off to roughly 130, before both backing off almost simultaneously, due to running up on traffic. He definitely pulled on me, but not by much. Was fun. I dropped back to the middle lane to go around a truck, shot past and waved to him and hit the exit to loop back to head back to Fry's.

All in all, a fun little run, not a kill. I never post kills. There are to many cars close to the Z's power and performance figures, so it's not like it's some big feat. My guess is he had one of the 315hp...what is it, the Carrera 4s? They are around 5.1-5.2 0-60, so right in line with the Z.
