well, i dont fully agree on u with that.-- its not that hard, or expensive at all to make a honda run into the 10s--- hell-- i know people that hace spend only as much at $5000 and have broken into the 11's ALL MOTOR, in a little 4 cylender rice burner-- lol--- and of course a honda needs nowhere close to the abount of whp to run low numbers as a heavier domestic does--- its all about power to weight ratio----- and i wasnt saying all domestics dont benifit all that much from mods-- but i was just stating that i was under the impresion that the cobra was already a pretty aggresive setupp-----lol--- and yes, i would also anyday love to own a vette-- its been my dream car for like forever, just aint got that kind of dough!

You are talking about a compromise with domestics having a rough idle to run 10's. That is something that is accepted. I sure would. but something that is not accepted as a compromise is a stripped out POS tiny car with 250 HP. Some people want to go fast and have a COMPLETE and NICE car at the same time. I like my sound dampening material, power accessories and other luxuries in my car. How is compromising the integrity of your entire car better than compromising your smooth idle?

civic,

you should check svt forums before making such posts. A 03 cobra with full bolton can produce in excess of 500 rwhp and with blower swap can produce 700+ rwhp. The motor is very potent and rivals that of supra.

Default your pathetic

I have owned four mustangs and now i own a Z. In fact i have owened 3 GT's and one Cobra and from first hand experience, the Z is 100 times a better car. I dont care how fast a mustang is, a Z is superior. Also, i raced a 2001 GT with my Z and crushed it. Just my .02 cents.

you beat the driver. As the new gt's run comparable times to the new z.

However, the 03 cobra is NOTHING like a normal stang. This current cobra out handles the last generation Cobra R. That in itself is a feat as the Cobra R is so low to the ground. To get it off the trailer for CnD to test it. They had to remove the front facia.

One thing I can expect is that the Z's interior is MUCH more refined.

If you don't mind getting dusted by a stang (an 03 cobra in this case), the 350Z is a better refined car. But what the original poster implied is that he does care to some extent (I could be wrong). Having a nice sports car that can't hold it's own in the straights, suck ***! Don't get me wrong... I like the 350Z, Supra and other imports. I'm not a domestic fan at all. I chose this car because I'm a torque-freak and a speed-freak. If I wanted a nice refined car, I could of bought the Z. Different cars for different people.

Btw, anybody (350Z owners) in Portland, OR want to try to dust my 03 cobra is welcome to try (Note: In no way, shape or form, am I stating that my car is unbeatable -- it was only a friendly challenge to you 350Z owners!).
