Ran a 13.9 in a stock G35C!!!
Big thanks to Flyin-Z from this board for pullin my ABS fuse so I could do a nice smokey burnout at E-town tonite.
13.9@97.1.... was the time, 2.7 mph down from my trap speeds of 99.8 a few weeks ago in colder weather. But my ET picked up, thanks to a nice set of used drag radials I got on ebay for $91.
There's a 13.70 in this car, but it's not happening until the fall when it cools down again and I can get those higher trap speeds.
I highly recommend drag radials over any other mod. I guarantee it will shave way more time off your ET's than high dollar exhausts/intakes....
Thanks again to Flyin-Z for your help!!!

Traction is a wonderful thing.....isn't it????
My friend and I were going to toss his slicks on my Z at the track last Saturday, but they closed early...so no go. I would have been DEEP in the 13s

Just curious what your 60' was with the drag radials, must of been really good to break into the 13's with 97Mph.. I just want to know how much better of a 60' is possible with DRs, I pulled a 2.047 with my stock tires..

You see that Brian, that's what we gotta do so you can do a burnout on the slicks.

No burnouts...
At least no true smokeys with a 6MT and left foot braking.
The minute you tap your brakes...the power cuts out.
Luckily, one of the Z guys from this board helped me out- pulled the fuse and voila, smoke city.
The car has a 13.70 in it...the 97 mph trap speed is off by about 3 mph from my last time out when it was cooler.
Based on my years of bracket racing experience in my past life, I believe the car can go 13.70s or better @101 in cool dry air (60 degrees, low humidity). But the weather negated any gains...

2.02- with some wheelhop
I need some more seat time with them to get it down. On street tires I did 2.16
With the same tires, I was hitting 1.80s with my stang once I figured out the launch...
