Sorry I am calling BS on this based on math.

Jimmy did a 2.1 60 at your trap and got 14.0

You running stock plugs and spraying "150ish"?

Why would I have to "pay shipping."?

You scan in the originals or a pic with a witness of the original not a bitmap.

I could post a 11 sec slip in paint shop pro.

Your math doesn't add up though bro.

I think we need to establish guidelines of authenticity here for these 12 second slips because next week I will be 12.6

For instance I have a witness from the baord, from work from another board original time slips still and full video of the run on evry track trip.

Plus you can call Sac Raceway too.

What do you have except a bitmap?

Come on you're giving this goal a bad name unless you change your story.

As for the 60ft, i thought that was pretty clear. Clutch didn't release fully.

Either way it really doesn't matter. Believe it or not. Your choice. In fact I prefer you don't believe it. That way if we ever happen to line up on the street I can take your money that much easier.

For what it's worth, I'll be running @ the NOPI event June 15-16 in ATL for all you doubters.
Take my money, ahahahhha, better make it a 300 shot...

Good run. 12.8@112 with a 2.1 60ft is impressive. Get the 60ft down to 1.8 and you are looking at some good mid 12 runs.

What pressure are you running on your hoosiers?

You were spraying a 150(ish) shot on stock heat range plugs? Whoa.

Anyhow get some clean passes under your belt and you will see 11s. Was this your first time launching on slicks?

No comment on the showing of taillights to the 392hp Ellis thing....

Well when your on top everyone wants a piece.

Call Mountain Parkway and verify the times if you like. It was a test & tune night so I don't believe that they would keep records.

Really it doesn't matter to me. There seems to be alot of whinning and crying about the time slip. Just because you have a hard time achiveing a decent time doesn't mean other people can't do it.

MaxHax,
I never said anything about stock plugs either. Look under the Nitrous post by Eskimo to see my response to your question about 1 range colder plugs. Unlike you, I don't care to divulge all the information about my car.

Oh, what happened w/ your ET streets? I saw your 60ft times dropped but nothing else got faster....

You want the slips, you get to pay to get them there. I'm not spending a penny of my money to make you feel better about being the 2nd one to the 12's....

It's amazing the amount of information everyone is assuming about my car. What's stock vs what isn't.

Last WS6,
18psi. They are 28in and are really too big. Need something closer to 26in range. Good eyes though.

No it was hooking up, just finding the limits of the stock clutch. I wanted to start w/ the pressure high so the slicks would spin instead of slipping the clutch. Didn't work out that way though.

Get some 26" for sure. run about 14 in them. 12 if you do not mind floating at the end of the track.

Max is correct, your math doesn't add up. In more than one way. Your 60' was the clue, but this is the proof.

Helps if you factor in the reation time. Duh.....

.922 reation time + 16.861 ET = 17.783sec
1.533 reaction + 12.873 ET = 14.406
17.783 - 14.406 = 3.377sec margin of victory

Grade school math.

Be sure of your accusations before posting, otherwise you end up looking like an ***.

For what its worth I believe you.. I think its just sour grapes with MaxHax.. Its ok, you still have a shot at being the 2nd person to get into the 12's

What I don't understand is why somebody would risk blowing there engine or damaging it with that much NOS??

BTW- I bet elektrik_juggernaut's face is gonna be red when he realized he forgot to factor in the r/t.. Somebody would of brought that up on the 2nd post if that was the case.

Congrats to be the 1st into the 12's!

They don't count reaction times at my track. I stand corrected. Congratulations on your run.

Oh yeah I forgot that you had said the clutch didn't grab. Anyhow if you can get it sorted out you could most likely pull some low 1.7 60' times if you can drive.

I used to start a bit high on the psi but now that I'm getting better at launching on the slicks I'm not having to play around with pressures much. Last time at the track I started them out at 14 ended up at 13 (cold psi here) and I pulled 1.8s on 3 of 4 runs.

I can vouch for Will, he's a good guy, and I heard about his time from some friends that were at the track.

I'll see you at Car wars Will. Keep up the good work.

I have an auto-x event that day, so I won't be there. Best of luck, I'm sure I'll hear all about it.

i have a general newbie question...do you need to change the fuel pump, injectors, and retard the timing for such a big shot? I believe your times, lots of hater out there..
