I saw a post where a guy said he got into the 13s in 90 degree weather, and it turned out not to be a Z and had no relevence here, so probably that one, at a minimum.

True true. Will the boards moderators still maintan that stance if the place gets sponsers that sell other tan z related stuff.

Just a curious question. That is if the place is ever getting sponsers once the after market opens up wide.

 

Can I reply I got a G35 SC almost the same thing.. Would it be ok I if i had some questions or could shed some light on a subject?? I know its a Z site but G's are the same thing well about 90 %

 

You guys, the only people he is talking about is the inflamatory idiots who come in here and pretend like they own the place when they don't even ride in a Z.

If you're not an idiot, you won't be banned or anything.

 

For example, the thread that was closed (lamest race ever) about the Camry race with a Z28. I asked if there weren't any forums out there for those cars because I honestly didn't understand the purpose of the thread on this forum. Did he race a Z? No. He just saw one roll by. I mean, are there so many members here with a GM built car that he just had to post it here? I am sure many Z owners who read the story thought to themselves and said "Ok, and....?"

What a waste of time. Are they that insecure to have to check on this site about the Z's? I am sure if I went on to one of their forums and posted my stories, they would have hated even harder.

Bottom line, you raced a Z, defeated a Z, lost to a Z...cool. Like VQ said, "Keep the posts on topic." If not, atleast have the courtesy to put it in the title that it is not Z related.

A couple of well-reasoned, non-flame, posts concerning the suitability of mods on the 350Z vs. the LS1 and SBC were deleted and I'm trying to figure out why.

Heck, I even mentioned that I LIKED the 350Z in them, it's just that if speed is what you are really worried about and you're on a tight budget it's not the car to buy.

Yeesh.

I can certainly agree that flames and silliness (Camry's vs. Z28's) should get deleted, but that's kind of draconian.

 

**** the main reason why there are so many people that post on this board that dont have a Z is because the mods have set this message board up in a messed up way. The only way to read posts and what not is to register? Thats b/s... **** all i wanted to do was read some threads and just lurk around. I totally agree with you!!!!! I had some of my posts deleted, in this thread nontheless, just asking some questions about why some things are done and saying why I like reading posts that have nothing to do with my car.

 

Mine were deleted as well. I guess VQ didn't like me explaining things to people...

I'll agree with this comment. I too would've just rather been a guest educating myself on the Z, but since you need to register to see the post, well why then not post yourself.

I think that the point is that this is a Z board. If it somehow involves a Z then post it. But if you have something to say that is somewhat Z-related then you should post it. We have to try to stay on-topic. Like you, many people come to this board to find out information about the Z. If all you find is about the Viper, for example, then you would feel that you wasted your time coming here. (Some feel that way anyway.)

It's not meant to discourage people from posting, just to encourage people to be on topic. my $.02
