Default engine cutout?

has anyone experienced some engine cutout or the engine losing power when you're racing your Z?
I felt some engine power loss when i was either on the red line or pretty much near the red line?
Has anyone noticed this?
p.s. I had the TCS off...

Look at any of the stock dyno charts to see why then look at the Crawford Z Car intake for the solution. The VQ in the Z definitley lays over at higher RPM most likely due to problems with the upper intake manifold...

I think the ECU has a redline limiter at 6600 RPM. I had the same thing happen several times at the track yesterday.

fuel cutoff IS AT 6600, sometimes the needle is a little behind, but if its like a SEVERE cut of power, you hit the redline. if it just kinda felt slightly less strong, might be the natural shape of the power curve your feeling.
