I saw one of that generation run at the track, the thing had mad torque. I think it ran near 12 flat, but if they guy would of got better traction, who knows what he could of done.

Cars I've beaten on the street....(worth mentioning)
2 stock WRXs
1 modded WRX (boost controller, exhaust, downpipe)
99+ Mustang GT
99+ Roush 360R (surprising, I pulled 1/2 a carlenth in two races)
2001 Mustang Cobra (stock, same acceleration as Roush)
Older 5.0s, a few
CLK 430 (actually beat me out of the hole)
A few motorcycles (not harleys, not crotch rockets, in between)
Turbocharged Integra
95 Trans Am (headers, cam, tq converter, bolt ons)
99 Ford Lightning
Merkur XRT4i (or whatever they're called, modded)

Cars that have beaten me
2 different modded early 90's mustangs.
A crotch rocket (I actually hung with from a 40 roll till 70, then he pulled away)
That's it.

For some reason, I never get any races with faster cars.

My car is a 2002 Trans Am 6 speed. Basically stock (airbox lid, dynomax muffler, STB, LCA).

9 second grand national is very very very impressive.

According to all the Grand National guys I've talked to, breaking the 10 second barrier is next to impossible with those cars, unless you swap the engine.

Stock--they're decent. But it's hard to find one that's still stock these days. Just a few mods and they're pretty mean. My dad's got an 87 GN he's trying to get into the 8.90s street driven. It's going to be SWEET!

I don't really care for the looks as well, but I would mind if one of those things were in my garage. I more into looks then speed, and they do not have any looks what so ever

Saw an LS1 and he kept revving on me. He had his girl in the car and there was moderate traffic. (I.e. nowhere to run.)

I did not even want to race so I declined the offer. So let's just pretend like I DID race.

Needless to say I got killed by LS1.

Now... dream version of same race:

Killed HIM by 25 car lengths!

I got beat by a 2000 TL-S1000...full Yosh system. He's a friend of mine and was following me to a party, so of course I had to give him a run/ego boost...I always beat him when we're both on our bikes. Lol, he's gets SO mad when he's topped out in 6th gear on his 1000cc bike and I come cruising by on my 750cc, hahaha.
