Default AutoX #4 Results

Well, I went to my forth AutoX last weekend. It was a busy, and since I'm a guest I only got two runs instead of the four that the members were getting, but I still did pretty well.

There were a ton of people so I'm posting only the interesting results.

The supercharged MR2 that got TTOD is pretty heavily modded, and was driven by a guest who was awesome. The owner of the car was almost 2 seconds slower than the guest was, and the owner is not a bad driver either.

Race Tires:
MR2SC................47.744 (guest driver)
S2000.................48.63 (my friend's who lets me tag along)
Vette...................48.879
Monza.................48.957 (race car)
Capri...................48.982 (race car)
Escort..................49.195 (race car)
MR2SC................49.588 (owner)
510.....................49.588
914.....................49.651
944.....................50.041
Audi A4...............50.196 (modded)
Cobra..................50.208 (not Mustang cobra)
RX-7....................50.311 (gen 1)
RX-7....................50.417 (gen 1)
Miata...................50.517 (sounded like it was turboed)
510.....................50.556
RX-7....................50.609 (gen 1)

Street Tires:
300ZX.................51.343 (this guy always gets me)
S2000.................51.600
300ZXTT..............51.777
350Z...................51.824 (<----- ME!)
Z06 Vette............51.850
240Z...................51.873 (modded, I think)
240SX.................52.226 (modded, I think)
240SX.................52.237 (modded, I think)
RX-7....................52.531
S2000..................52.642
Fiat......................52.671
350Z...................52.678
Integra................53.258
Starion.................53.622
SRT4....................53.661
350Z....................54.111
Civic 4WD............54.989
Murano.................55.099

There were quite a few others, but I put down all the cars that beat me plus the interesting ones that I was able to top.

It was an awesome day and I got one hell of a sunburn. I gotta get one of those fishing caps cuz a baseball cap just doesn't cut it.

4WD Civic? LOL...

Maybe I should show up at one of those with plaid shorts, a mis-matched shirt, black socks and old wingtips, driving my girlfriend's CRV. I'd win because they'd all be too distracted laughing.

Well, this one is put on by a private company by some very dedicated employees. The problem is that you have to be an employee or former employee to join. I may just have to get a job there some day.

I've also just recieved my SCCA membership, so I hope to be going to those events soon. Unfortunately, I've had scheduling conflicts with all the events so far, but I WILL be going to the July 6th and July 19th events that are put on by the San Francisco Region.

De Anza College also has the annual Duel at De Anza, but I'm not sure when that is. If that hasn't happened yet you might want to show up and just watch for a while.

Thumbs up Glad to hear you joined SCCA

Doh. Look forward to meeting you at future autocross's I have done most of them this year. There have been four 350z performing but we have competion from an M coup in Novice class. Those S2000's are really fast in the BS class.

I have a brickyard also.
