Hey guys, I'm 17 but been dying to take my car to a track. Some told me you have to be 18, some said you dont.. and some people told me you have to be 18 for certine things at the track, such as drags.

Can anyone who knows for a fact what age requirements are let me know? If it varies track to track, I'm looking at Summit Point and Maryland International Raceway. Thanks.

I think it is 18 or at least what I have heard. I wish I had your car when I was 17 years old

Best idea would be to call the track you plan on attending. I used to race at several tracks when I was 15 and 16 years old, no problem.

You're parents will probably have to sign a form for you once a year.

It differs from club to club. BMW CCA does require 18 for track, no waivers, but we have waivers for autoxes.
