Did anybody here took his car to a racetrack in GA or around Atlanta. I am not talking about a dragstrip but a racetrack. Let me know where you guys want and how you liked it. I want to take mine to the track but i dont know where to go yet.

www.georgiazclub.com We are having another track day at talladega grand prix racetrack (little talladega, or tgpr), in october.

www.chinmotorsports.com , I think, Roebling Road last weekend of september

I've done TGPR and its a great track for a first timer, very gently 1.3 mile road course. Also done Road A, and while intimidating at first, is a blast.

The local scca club in savannah is hosting an autocross at Roebling Road race track this saturday the 30th. The speeds are generally higher than than of the typical solo2 events and they use the first four coners of the track with the key hole. In my 94'na 300zx the fastest I attained was 90mph on the exit most parts around 60mph at the last event. pm if you like to go

I went with a compnay out of california called 'tracquest'. they run track events out west, and tried expanding out here, but only had about 40 cars for the 2 days. I got a last minute discount of 250 for 1 day.

2003z,
Me and about 9 other of my friends have got a reservation for tgpr on October 27th. Altogether we have 10 of us and it is costing each one of us $100.00 per person for the whole day. This will be my first time ever going to tgpr and was wondering if you could give me your opinion on this track? Any response will be much appreciated. I am really looking forward to this. I was told that the fastest I would be able to go will be about 85-90 MPH on the straightaway. Thanks

I think I am probably going too! I will let Kevin know by the 18th. Anyway, its a very tame track, the worst that can happen is you spin out and go in the grass. 85-90mph is about right.
