Very cool project--I just stumbled across it, 15:1 on 100 octane might be asking a bit much, but it will be interesting to see what happens. Your right at the line there.
To bad there are not more choices in cams, I always liked having lots of choices to really dial in. Curious how the starter will hold up !! Id like to hear a little bout what you did with the heads, thats another nice overall balance factor that pulls everything together when your ***** out. Exhaust will be interesting also.
TH 400 will be great for street/strip, But was always curious how a built Cast Iron Powerglide would do for strip. With both, the skys the limit as far as mods and INEXPENSIVE !!
If all goes well, a sound clip wont do it justice, it will have an awesome sound!! Good Luck

100 octane is not enough IMO we run compression like that on several 600ci BB motors most of the time with 300 shot or so and C16 is a must.. There is just to much heat in a race motor you might be dealing with pre ignition problems along with detonation... Ride down to the Orlando executive airport and get some 100/130 green color(It's cheap).. It's not C16 but I think you stand a way better chance.. BTW I really wanted to do something like this but I have all my cash is tied up in a 331 SB turbo car and a new dynojet so thanks for doing it.. I wish you best of luck I want to see this thing go in the 10's ......Oh and Live.
Here is a quick link on the avgas so you understand how they rate it..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avgas
Also I decided to edit this just so I can state one fact Avgas is not a race fuel the blend I descibed is arround 105 octane if you were rating it like a regular motor fuel. It is leaded and untaxed so it 's cheap. E85 is a better choice is you have a fuel system that can compensate for a 30% higher BSFC.. I really think C16 (120 octane) is the right fuel.. I willing to bet that Jermey knows this but I didn't want anyone to think that avgas rates 130 octane...

Manleys have always been my choice. I hope u have a good snappy spring pressure for those expected RPMs.
Im always torn with a new set of radical Heads. Do I install them, thereby hiding them or do I just leave them propped up on my desk so I can stare at them !!!!!!
