Great job Adam. That engine is just screaming to be revved out. That would make an awesome NA track engine to boot. Any plans to track it? Enjoy! And I like the red valve covers.

thanks guys...going to play around tomorrow and see if we can get some vide's posted at least of the car idling and some free revving. I don't have a camera mount to take in case shots yet, but I guess that's the next mod

It sounds like the heads are really doing a great job. That and the increased compression ratio seem like the most significant and unique facets of this build. Is there any way to estimate which is the greater contributor to the fantastic results?

Nice work and thanks for sharing.

thanks - there really is no way to know, it was all designed and built, as a unit. We had a goal in mind, and with working through my machinist and a few other helpful sources, backed ourselves into the parts and specs we needed to do to accomplish the goal. Most builds you see people doing are the reverse...no really forsight going into it, and often just throwing a combo of parts together that they hope will work. The single best mod, in my case, is my engine builder

Guys this thing pulls like a locomotive all the way to redline even with over 400+ lbs of passenger inside. 1st and 2nd gear are a joke and right around 3500 rpms it pulls and pulls and pulls until it hits redline. This car feels nothing like a stock Z where it feels out of breath in the upper rpm range. I think if the Cosworth plenum lives up to its hype we will hope to see another 10 whp on this motor.
