I put down 316 rwhp on a dynojet. I couldn't find the print out of the that pull but here is one of 314.

^its either him Black Guy, or Audible Mayhem. Richie over in Australia had a crazy high reving build as well.

Not too many crazy NA builds out there.

Richie had a very strong NA motor. I would say it would be one of the strongest. Audible Mayhem would have the strongest NA motor had he used more aggressive cams and tuned the VTC angles.

mine is currently sitting at 320 whp at Turbo XS (their dyno is calibrated to read just like AAM's Dynojet as they are down the block from one another)

no idea on my 1/4 miles as it's just not my thing

Details on my build are posted in this section

i'm currently sitting at 321whp at Turbo XS...

lol, jk guys! thats awesome Z1!

There use to be a website with BIG hp n/a Z's from Japan, but the link is no longer available.
http://www.jdm-option.com/eng/featur...2/z33_v35.html

Luckily for myself, I printed a few of the cars out and their list of mods before it disappeared... one example below.

TOMEI POWERED (exclusive build for the FUJI circuit)
Engine & Drivetrain

NISMO Spec 2 Cylinder Head (ported, modified combustion chamber), Titanium Vlaves, 0.7mm Head Gaskets, Forged Pistons, Rod Bearings, main bearings, Oil Pump, Sports Air Filter, S1 Spec Intake Pipe, Fuel Pump/ Tomei Pro Camshafts, Valve Springs, H-beam Connecting Rods, Prototype Baffle Plate, Expreme Exhaust Manifold, ECU / RB25DET Stock Injectors / ARC High Capacity Oil Pan, Full Dual Super Titanium Silencer/ Nismo Copper Mix Twin Clutch, GT LSD pro

The Engine Dyno'ed at 350HP
The prototype cams and the headers were built to withdrawal top end performance. 370cc injectors at 70-80% were installed as a safety measure since the stock units require to be used 100%. The ECU has been reprogrammed by Tomei.'

High Lift Cams Matched with a 13:1 Compression
The stock compression at 10.3:1 was a sufficient match with the 268 degree camshafts, but not enough for the 13:1 ratio. Here, an IN280 and EX272 were installed to meet the high compression. Since these camshafts do no require alteration of the valve timing, the VTC was untouched.

Adam's 320 is at the rear wheels, while this 350 is an engine dyno.

Interesting, though. I wonder how much of the 350 would survive to the rear wheels?

For me, the 13:1 compression would be a deal-killer. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't run too well on the 93 octane gas that I expect to buy.

Actually all the Z/Gs were bolted to a Dynapack... One crew complained about making only 290hp and 267tq, but they left a few things stock They said they were pushing for 300 and mentioned it would kill a turbo'd car on the circuit. So I doubt he was refering to 300 crank HP.

lol, silly david

But yeah, there is not many N/A enthusiasts here, but the ones that are -- are insane.

Personally I am going for a mild engine build. Just want a nice strong motor, not looking for any serious WHP increases (Although, that would be great.)

Plans for the near future is a stock turbo car (Thinking 335i), so I am just going to be mildly building and tuning it.

Surf this forum a bit and read the threads, there is a wealth of information at your fingertips!

What is the most NA power someone has gotten without ripping the block appart? So no stoker, no forged anything, no cams even? (preferably on a DE non-revup) This way I can see if my current goal is even possible. I want 300 at the wheels without touching the block really.

I think that's unlikely.

My RevUp has 286 at the rear wheels, but that's the highest it will ever get.

A DE would be lucky to break 280 on a Dynojet, and that's with cams that can be used with stock pistons.

Highest I have seen on DE with boltons and cams is in 290's on a dynojet. They all had stock bottom end. Crawford and webcarconnection are the two that I remember.
