AAM fuel return
About to send my ecu off to AAM to get it reflashed for the new 440cc injectors. While i'm waiting for it to come back, i'll be installing the AAM fuel return system. Just cuious if anyone else is using this fuel return system on a n/a Z?
i'm building it up for forced induction. Just curious if it would hurt anything in the meantime with a reflash. I completly understand that it is unnecessary for a n/a car. i'm just tired of the parts i ordered still sitting in the box.

the only benefit i can see a reflash doing, is bumping up the idle/removing the speed limiter/raising the rev limiter. (the idle, and rev limit raise should be used in conjunction with cams/headwork)
other than that, save the $500 it'll run you, and get a little closer to some boost

I am setting up a fuel return system because I'm doing a vq swap into my 240sx, eventually I will go supercharged but for now I just wanted to take advantage of what was already on the car and not have to install a 350z pump and parts off a gas tank. I only need a few pieces but unfortunately you 350z owners needs a lot of stuff to do it right. It will require a lot less fuel pressure from the pump so a stock pump should be good for higher horse power in fuel return mode, than returnless mode, or so I understand.
honestly just wait and install everything at one time, the reflash will help NA but if you're planning to FI you're wasting money right now. Get your engine management, fuel system, FI, etc and get all installed/tuned don't do stages
