Im looking to the vendors to see who out there can do a motor build to put my 350 at around 350ish WHP. and the only thing i want for sure is forged pistons and rods. anyone out there reading this please PM me with your answers and prices, and please include both just motor price. and motor and install price. thank you for reading. I plan to FI later next year but want a sturdy powerplant to build on.

the motor that gives you 350 whp NA is not the same motor that you'll be able to use for FI.

that being said, how much change are you expecting back from $20k? That's realistically the general area where it will net you to be at a circa 350whp engine, once components, machining, assembly, install, supporting mods, and ancillaries are factored in. To go FI, would require a new engine build, with most components being vastly different

Why do these VQ motors seem to be so difficult i know my LS1 there are lots of mods you can do and still use it NA and then throw FI and be good to run... okay lets make the first change.. forged pistons. forged rods. sleeves. what else will be needed and im looking for single turbo set up either STS or APS. And prices as well. please PM anything you dont wanna display on post

they aren't difficult at all...they work just like any other engine. There is nothing particularly special nor unique about them

for pricing on components, you're welcome to look on our site. We do not, and would not, sell a built motor for anyone, it's just not what we do.

rather than reseaching pricing on the parts you want to use, spend the time researching who is going to do the work for you...from start to finish, and once a level of trust and understanding is reached, worry about the parts.

there are soo few NA cars running 350 whp. The ones that are have tones of head work and more importantly, cams specifically ground for NA, and super high compression pistons. You'd never run high compression with a turbo kit. So that would be a complete rebuild right there.

If you are going to FI, do that. If you want a super hi revving NA, do that. Cant do both.
