you did a great job.

Can you give us a brief run down of what hinson sent you that worked?

Default ideas

very very awesome build , if you put some all pro heads, high compression JE pistons , a big cam, and bore and stroke just a little you could easily make 600 hp but thats way more than a turbo kit so nevermind

I got the car weighed today. The scale goes in increments of 20lbs and with the full interior, drag wheels and no spare the car weighed in at 3100lbs I'm gonna be honest..I didn't expect it to be that light.

Wow...that's great man. My car weighed in at 3130 the other day, and I too was surprised. How long until you get that thing fully dialed in and on the track? Are you still going to run just a cam and nitrous?

Car looks and sounds fantastic (great job on the swap). The LS2 fits in there as if it rolled off the assembly line that way (even looks roomier in that bay with the LS2 in there as opposed to the VQ). You are not the only one I've heard that has had issues with hinson, there have been others that have had less than adequate service/integrity from them with there 240sx ls1 conversions.

Would be nice if another (reputable) vendor would offer support (i.e. parts and otherwise) for this conversion. Would much rather have a LSx in my car than a TT kit anyday imo.

Your absolutely right. Take today for example. He sent me a new slave cylinder that was leaking and after me spending thousands of dollars with him tells me hes going to charge me for a new slave till he gets the old one in return....a 105$ part. Youd think after spending thousands being OVERLY patient and ignoring 99% of the ******** given he'd cut me a break without me having to *****. It has been a nightmare to say the least and good luck for anyone else trying to do this swap. Youll be sourcing out your own parts to make certain things work and have absolutely 0 help on anything like wiring and most likely get the brush off from him after youve spent the money. On top of that I was told everything would be boxed up and shipped together which is wasn't and now he wants me to pay shipping on everything he's shipped.
