Ok guys I'm out of denial and I'm now stock-piling the rebuild parts again to give the bottom-end the attention it needs. The final push came from Weisco where the website references something I and my machinst missed about the rings. Personally, I'm expecting to find a problem with the oil rings. Also it gives me a chance to cam the motor and create the rev's the engine needs to make meaningful power. I'll keep you all posted.
