Default building vq

i have a 03 z that i want to take on the all motor route. im trying to break into the 300's then maybe spray for an extra 100. ive been looking at the long block packages from kyle at importpartspro.com. i want to get the stage 3 long block, and go from there with 11:1 comp. my question is which cam would be best for me, the s1, s2, or c2. ive read that people have used the c2's for boost but what about all motor. with the long block that he list is it possible to get into the 300's. right now i have strup headers, greddy single exhaust, and also a hks rep true dual. looking to get some high flow cats, have intake plenum spacer, and pop charger, i have a technosquare ecu right now but wanted to get tuned with the osiris software. would it be ok to spray on a 11:1 comp vq? also how high would i be able to rev safely? im sure i will have have more questions to come, im currently in iraq and wont be home to even start this build for another 9 months. thanks in advance

i would send a message to z1 performance, ask for i think his name is adam. He has a all motor NA Z. He could give you the better advice. Also, if your going to spray to get close to 400hp, y not just do turbo and you could save yourself a buck or 2.

Read the forums. There are many threads, including Adam's, 1cockyz's, and SG's, that share a wealth of information about NA builds.

If you want to rev high, you have to build the bottom end. I went with an IPP block and my rev limiter is set to 8k. If I find that I can make high rpm power, I will rev it out to 8500rpm.

You're moving in the right direction, you just need to do as much research as possible before you drop serious coin.

the best thing you can do is read the posts of those who have done it already
