less friction would mean less heat buildup in the engine, and also less energy lost making heat. so i would think the opposite would be true

 

Tune for the cams (which is needed) install the LTH sameday and if needed tweak my tune depends on what Vince says or does.

 

why doesnt nissan use roller bearing lifters/buckets like other newer engines? that would keep friction to its minimum. is there just not enough room in there?

I am just going to put it out there, unless you are actually pulling the cams out (HUGE job) this is not something that serious, I didn't use them personally, but I am sure they will make alittle something, but unless I was getting new springs/retainers in and bigger cams, I would leave good enough along, there are better areas to spend money on the car.

 

What were the result O.P.?

 

Courtesy Nissan online sells the buckets for only like $18 bucks new. Definitively going in on my head build next year.

 

make sure that you get the right sizes after you measure for clearance.
