Default Quick upgrade questions

So I'm about to do a cbe, HFCs, plenum spacer, MREV2, and a dyno tune. Is there anything I can add to this list that will give me a noticeable bump in power, and not cost me engine life or another $2500+?
Just trying to figure out if there is anything else to get me moving faster as I'm not ready to drop $5k on forced induction yet.

Fair question, do your bolt-ons then tune. Noticeable difference, you will enjoy it.

So there's nothing else to really do at this point before I get a tune? Looking for any meaningful bolt ons I may have missed. Was considering headers, but from what I understand, what I'll gain in HP, I'll lose in torque as I sit with the bolt ons on my list.

It's funny that you think $5K will get you into an FI setup.

Either answer my question, show me a search that will answer my question, or eat a dick.

The car has been out of production for how long? How many truly original posts are you expecting? If you are tired of seeing the same questions then write a sticky.

So what makes you think your post is original? And since its not, a quick google search wouldve answer most if not all of your questions.

Some have long cold air intakes, but the stock airbox is very good. CAIs give more intake sound. A friend of mine hydro locked last year with one though.

I have, but have have yet to find a comprehensive list of upgrades and their power gains. So as I mentioned, feel free to show me a search that will yield the knowledge I'm looking for.

we have told you in many threads you will never get over 260 whp, my hr only hit 286 with full bolt ons

every car and tuner/dyno is different so no car will be exactly the same

Because there is no list that has mods and their power gain as it is impossible to determine how much said mod will be able to net in gains....

I might pick up 15hp from a cosworth, while another guy picks up 20. I might get 5 hp from a tune, another guy can get 30. Its a numbers game with no real answer. Hell, all the mods you have listed MIGHT give you 5-10Whp...

I do understand variance between cars and tuners, I'm just trying to make sure I have everything practical before I take a day off work and drive 3 hours away to get a $600 tune.

from reading through the various posts, you have done (or going to do) almost all you can for power NA. you could do headers, but they are a pita install and even still marginal gains

Cams, lower compression rods, headers, port and polished heads, bigger throttle body. Plenty to be added...

Probably not at this point. I have a cheap mechanic but I'm guessing a lot of that stuff is going to be high dollar.

I was just trying to find trying to find another 10-40 hp for $500- $2000.

Youre not getting 40 hp out of an NA built without tearing into the engine. Especially not if its a DE
