IMO, looks like a universal exhaust, something found on ebay or pepboys.

^ I have to agree with that. Theres a point where sound is not worth keeping an exhaust over. It doesnt look like it belongs on the nismo. Let alone a normal Z. Just less acceptable on the nismo.

 

I would embrace that big open box shape of the nismo rear bumper -- I think an amuse or arc exhaust would look awesome, def A LOT of cash. For the more budget minded the Fujitsubo legals or legals TI would be a great choice for the money.

I think I'd just keep the stock exhaust and toss some test pipes on and call it a day.

 

Or buy my JIC Y pipe. =)

I think if you're going to spend the money for a nismo, why not spend a bit more and get a legit exhaust?

 

i get what you are saying jeffie but sondra and i do not have to be like everybody else who puts name brand **** on there or something just because it is popular. if you read one of sondra's post we did it because it was a custom exhaust built for the car and we got it for performance. the mufflers aren't the greatest but they do look ok in the rear imho. i love the mufflers aam use on their exhaust system and they look GREAT in the rear bumper of the nismo i wouldn't mind evenutally migrating to that.

Yep! And I appreciate everyone's input. I already knew some people weren't going to like it, just wanted to get a feel of just how awful everyone thought it was.

 

is that AAM exhaust or nismo? yeah i went looking for that pic and never found it.. so i gave up on this thread. lol

also agree with bryce... if you like it do it.. its your car... take all our opinions with a grain of salt... use it more as an information tool than the deciding factor.
