Default Houston Newbie to be!

Whats up everyone? Im Doncmleon, here in Houston, TX...

I currently have an 01 BMW 330Ci and have always loved and respected the Z's. In fact, i still have the 2003 brochure, because I almost bought one. Well, im sick and tired of issues with my BMW and am looking to get a 350 VERY soon. I am looking to get an 05 Enthusiast package. What things should I be looking for? I have an idea as to what I should pay, but can anyone in here offer any suggestions for me? Does anyone know any GOOD Nissan Dealers in the Houston area? Help meh' out if you can....ill take all the advice I can get....thanks everyone!

If any of you are in e46fanatics.com, Im under the same name in there.

Welcome. My cousin Daniel used to work in sales at Baker Jackson by Astroworld, but too bad he quit months ago. He would have hooked you up. Try them out and also try to buy online. Less hassle IMO.

Welcome aboard... while you are at it, check out www.zcar.org for the Z Club of Houston. We are always happy to have a new member.

As for deals, I guess that depends on where you live and how far you want to drive. I bought my 2003 Track model in January of 2003 for sticker price down at Gillman Nissan in Richmond. Back then, dealers were adding the "market adjustment" of anywhere from $5000 to $10000 for Track models. Nowadays, there's 25 Zs on every dealers lot, so you should be able to find a good price anywhere.

As for service, I have always taken my car to Bennie at Mossy Nissan on I10. I had body work done at Baker-Jackson North, only becuase they are 5 miles from my house. Sterling McCall is a big supported of the Z Club of Houston (we have our annual car show at their dealership) so somethere will probably work with you.

Hope that helps.

The best thing you can do is wait two months or so and get an 06. They're gonna have more power, better brakes, revised heaadlights and tail lights, and some misc interior changes.

Welcome bro..........glad to have on boaard. Get a 05 Touring if you want something right now, or if you are willing to wait for about 2 months or so just wait for the 06 models ( w/ minor mods and different colors). It all just depends on you. I usually go to Mossy Nissan on I-10 for service issues etc. Look for Al kerandish ( excellent salesman ) and Zack ( for services issues....cool as hell). Good luck.
