Default Crap help.. just got a 05 z

woohoo 05 z DB 20 miles when i bought it 28200 OTD price. enthus base was weak..

anyways when they had me inspect the car.. it was night time already i coud'nt see ****.. i had no reason to believe there would be something wrong.

well the day after i saw some fairly deep scartches by where.. they had their logo sticker at and i told them to take it off..

will they still cover for that? also i just noticed that my passenger seat has a cut.. and yes it cut all the way through i can see the cushin inside.. its about a inch wide.. looking from my side i thought it was just a piece/strand of fabric and i just had to pick it up and throw it away.. well i took a closer look and it is defintely a clean cut a knife or something..

will they warrant those? or am i ****ed?

Default Congratulations and welcome

For the things that you mentioned, dealers are flexible and will usually allow you additional leeway during the first 30 days.

Default paint and interior damage

I do alot of a paint work for dealerships. Try do be as polite as possible with the sales person and manager. If that doesn't work, then ask to speak with the owner of the dealership. The last thing the owner wants is to hear from an upset customer.

Took it to the dealer spoke with the Sales manager and he said he'll let my sales man know and next week he'll have someone fix the scratches.. he admits to that but the cut on the seat.. he said he'll show it to his interior guy and see what he can do..

i mean what can he do other than replace the seat? or can they just replace the outer layer??

I would think the seats are made to last 10+ years should not be that easily damaged.. i know on my 3000gt leather no problems at all even when i abused it.. put tvs etc on it.. and then also my old integra cloth.. np at all.

if i have to fix it myself what options do i have? does Nismo etc make some sort of seat cover for it ... what about the leather ones?? are they direct bolt on? i am guessing they'll probably a bit more reliable.
