Got an 06 because my 05 was a lemon.
You may or may not have already heard my incessant whining about my 05 Z, and the several transmission problems I've had.
Short version, two transmissions and then they found metal shavings in my oil pan. I told my dealer, and Nissan USA that I did not want my car back. They had it for almost 3 weeks, and I hadn't had the car for more than 2 months.
After many phone calls the dealer tells me that they'll have an 06 Z waiting for me on friday last week.
I didn't beleive it until I saw it. The sales manager tells me that it's an even swap, and I pretty much sign some papers to change titles and drive it away. They're even going to pay for new avery paint protection.
Here are some pics of the new Z:

Correct, no money exchanged. Keep in mind this is after the car had been in the shop for a couple of weeks or more, and a full morning of phone calls to the dealership and to nissan.
I'm pleased with the result, the dealership really stepped up to the plate to resolve my issues.
Despite my grief with the 05, I feel I came out pretty good.

Had I delt with any of the dealerships in Raleigh, including MJ Nissan, I doubt I would have managed this.
BTW, I found it very odd that this 06 Enthusiast 6mt was one of only around 5 of any color able to be found by the dealership. Are they rare?
