Hi i'm Mike, i've been looking to trade in my '03 Tiburon for something a bit quicker and sleeker, the 350z has caught my attention for about a month now that i've decided im getting rid of my car. So I'm just starting to look into them a bit more in depth. I was wondering if theres anything I should be aware of such as a ****ty engine, ****ty tranny, ****ty paint (such as the tiburon) etc etc. Thanks, hopefully i'll be joining you all soon with a 350z !

tire fearthering....bad trannys....engine have exploded, do a search there is hundreds of post on TSB and problems

a bit quicker? if you go with a Z its gonna be a LOT quicker =) but yeah 03-04 seems like the trouble years regarding tranny, window motor, tire feathering, alignment, etc. go for 05-06 as most problems are put on check already.

 

so the 05-06 models have the 03-04 problems fixed? Is their anything wrong with the 05-06 models? Also I saw somewhere that the 05 35th editions solved the same problems, is this true?
