Heard it went into effect last Friday. Anyone know for sure?

 

The dealer on Friday offered me a $1000 rebate off the top of a leftover 05. He didn't say anything about a $2k rebate. It only worked out to about an $8 a month difference for the $1k. I passed and picked up an 06 at another dealership for even less than the 05 w/ the rebate.

I am not sure if anything changed on March 1st, but it was (and still may be) 2K for the 2005s. $1,000 was a customer rebate and $1,000 was factory to dealer cash.

 

You should go by Carmax. They usually have almost new 350z's for several grands less. I got my Black Touring 6speed with 15k miles on it for only 24k. So I saved like 8k. But some people would rather buy new. Oh well...When in Rome!

 

Yup, it's been 2K off for '05 for almost a month now.
