Default Bout to get a Le Mans Sunset 06 enth auto Z

Well if everything goes well I should have purchased it by today or tommorow. Taking a little longer because I'm buying from a dealer in texas but I'm in Lejeune. They also are having to get it from some dealer in like Kansas.

Just wonderin if there's anything besides like drool that I should do when I first get my Z.

Also I'll have to get it moved from the dealer in texas to one near Lejeune and was wondering if you knew how much that should actually cost.

How have ya'll that are in states that require front plates done it. Is there anyway to attatch it w/o drilling? Uh any tips on taking care of it that ya'll learned from experience.

I've heard the break in period is anywhere from 800-1200miles. So what are things I shouldn't do. Like a short time after I get it I'll be driving it from here back to texas and its like 1200m. Is it dangerous to drive it at constant highway speeds for a long time. I've heard it is but then again that was concerning a hmmwv.

Other than that I'm excited.

First of all: Read the manual.

On your drive keep under 4000 rpms & vary speed/rpms. Then when you get home read your manual. Then ask more questions here as you need.

The 350Z is easy to drive. Both the clutch and transmission are forgiving. No need to get crazy during brake-in. The key point is no long operating at a consistent RPM. For a 100 mile highway trip just go from firth to sixth to fifth gear every now and then.

Always an honor to speak with a Marine.

Well it will probably be redline now because I saw one in the parking lot and well it changed my mind. May make the deal today in NC because taxs are like a 3rd of what they are in texas and I won't have to pay like 1200 bucks for em to transfer it to texas from kansas or to here.

So here hoping things go well.
Thanks for that dave. Still feels wierd when people say that but I felt the same way and feel the same way talking to older Marines

Well I just got it last night. A red enth w/ areo and all the standard mats n kick plates. Also got an extended warranty for 30k OTD. Love this car. Got to drive it 80 miles on the way back to base from the dealer and it was great.

About 10min after getting the car I stopped to get directions and some chic was like "Oohh nice car. Is that one of them new nissan cars." I was like yea. Then she goes on to say "So does it go real fast?" And of course I replied why yes it does.

Funny this cars been out for 3 some years yet people still stare like I did before I got mine. I like the fact that the ride "sucks". Just reminds you that you are driving a sports car.

I'll post some pics later. I love this car.

Not sure why everyone says the base system sucks. It sounds better than most stock systems I've heard, including my moms 06 bmw 3.
