Default Official Z Owner!

I picked up my 2004.5 Z Track last night ! I love it so freakin much, its a blast to drive and people were literally breaking there necks lookin at the car going down the road... damn it feels good

Thanks to everyone for the advice and answers on my previous posts! You'll see a lot more of me around :P

The first thing I'm doing today is adjusting the clutch pedal so it's lower to the floor, and then sometime this week gettin 15-20% tints. I already installed a shorty antenna off of my last car

Congrats. You'll enjoy the nice sound from the exhaust even when you're listening to music. It has surprised me several times in the last 3 days.

You do have the car, dont you? And I hope you know how to read the sidewall on the tire. They look like the 17s that come on the base and enthusiest package. If they told you that it was a track model, did you check to see if it even had Brembos?

Those are 17" base, enthusiast wheels....ask for a side view, so you can see if it has the goldish brembos on it or now...

I'm biting the bullet and guessing it is in fact an enthusiast model No problems here though, it has CC and LSD and is still a blast to drive. I'm lovin it!!

Also, the dealer didnt tell me it was a Track, I just assumed it was from the info I gathered. My bad :P

But got distracted, and by the time I hit "Submit", I read your latest comment and realized mine was no longer needed, so I edited it out since we don't have support for deleting a post.

Congrats on your purchase, by the way!

Dude, that doesn't look like a track model...why would they have put the base 17" wheels on a track model? You might have gotten hosed.

oops, I didn't read all the rest of the posts, my bad...oh well. Still it's a Z, its not like you told people you got a GT Mustang and it was really a poopy V6 mustang. Congrats! New wheels definitely. The worst part about Z is the wheels, they were messed up with that.

Congrats turbosteve! You must have picked that up at Lyle Pearson if you said it was the local Porche/Mercedes dealer. I just picked up a 2005 35th AE on 2/20 from Bronco Nissan in Nampa (wont touch Dennis Dillon Nissan). If you are going to be making that drive between Mtn Home and Boise everyday, you should consider the clear bra as well to keep from getting all those rock chips from the freeway.
