Default Got a Z today

Just picked up a 2006 Enthusiast in Silver stone this evening - great replacement for a 2002 RSX-S.

I have to go back to the dealer on monday so they can install the NISMO wing - I got them to throw that in.

$28,745 OTD with the NISMO spolier and free oil changes - as well as a few little things that were already on the car (came from another dealership). I was happy they didn't try to charge me extra for wheel locks, etc.

Also got a great trade on my old car.

Porter Nissan in Newark, DE, in case anyone cares.

First thing i am thinking about doing is puttin gin XM - anyone try to put a Roady XT in the compartment over the radio? If it fits that would be a sweet spot to hide it.

welcome! - there aren't too many Zs here in delaware - such a tiny state. so tiny, in fact, that i practically see ALL the other Z drivers on an almost daily basis. i work with three of them, lol, but i don't recognize them unless they're behind the wheel.

p.s. i'll be the one with the silverstone coupe and the red coupe belongs to a hot lady doctor. the orange one belongs to this guy doc - he's a cocky bast**d - see you out there

WoW! That sounds like a good deal. I just bought a 2005 350Z Base 6spd PPW with only 5700 miles. It was used as a demo at the dealership and I got it for $23,979+TTL (Around $25,700 OTD) Does that sound like a good deal? Wonder how much it would have been to go new?

So that would be around $27,500? ($29k+after taxes) Going with the 2005 which is practically new and saving $3000-$4000 isnt bad

Do you have the dock mounted in the storage compartment/wiring hidden? I am OK at installing stuff but i want this to look clean so i was going to use a guy i know who does it professionally for a shop.

I do. You have to drill a hole in the lower/center back of the compartment. Than run all the wiring behind the radio and center consol.

Did you DIY? I don't mind a little work but i don't want to f it up. If it's not that bad I may pick up the XT this weekend.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid with the new ride...

I consider it a DIY if you have car audio knowledge. More a PIA taken apart the dash and such. I've attach some helpful links below:
