1. what is the suggested period before my first wax?

2. what wax is recommended?

You can wax it anytime after you get it. No need to wait.

I use Collinite Insulator wax for the front end & mirrors, Mothers Reflections car wax over the entire car, and spray it down weekly with Mothers FX spray wax.
