I finally did it!
Hello again everyone!
This is not my first post here, but I finally DID get my first "Z" car about 3 hours ago now!
I've been lurking here for quite awhile, and I very carefully considered all the advice that many of you posted before I bought my car. (I was considering an 2006 "stripped-down" base vs a used model with better options)
Well, I opted for a gorgeous 2003 fully loaded Touring car, every option you can get except for the navigation system. It's the Daytona Blue color with 34K miles and I got it for $23K. It has a "Lojack" anti-theft system, a Borla exhaust, and some kind of CAI. Te gearshift is a little noisy but it's supposed to be due to a "short throw shifter". Car appears impeccably maintained and is "Nissan certified" to 100K miles.
The best news is that is costs $400-600 LESS per year to insure than an '06 Mustang GT I was looking at. That alone more than makes up for the cost of premium gas!
Anyway, I'm glad I did it. (I think . . . now I'm getting the "buyer's blues"
)
I also think it's a SUPERB idea to post that "100 most common questions" thread ! I'll be sure to read it after I calm down! I feel like I just drank 100 cups of coffee. . . . .
Thanks again, everyone!
All best,
Joe

Thanks everyone!
I get the "buyer's blues" whenever I spend a lot of money . . . but I'm sure they'll go away. I got a great car and I'm happy with the price, and that's all that really matters, right?
And yes, I will post some pics as soon as the weather clears up around here!
I'll be seeing you around the Forums, and I'm sure I'll have some questions.
I promise that I'll use the "search" button first though!
All best, Joe
