My brother has a 25k budget for a car. His choice as many here 350Z, S2k, EVO, STI and maybe a C5, or ans S4. My choices are in that exact order. I like my Z a lot and never driven any of those cars. Another great thing he will be out of town often so I will take real good care of it while he's gone.
Most likely he will get a Z track coupe or an 04-05 s2k. I do like the S2k and it would be fun to have a different car. But also I think the cool factor will be there when we go out for drives.

I would say STi or Evo. It's always nice to have a different car to play around with rather than two of the same cars, and always good to have a sedan so you can haul some passengers every now and then, (good for emergencies too). On some occassions I miss having backseats.

You can find a babied, modded C5 for around that price and outrun any of the cars listed in your post. Check out corvetteforum.com for sale section. The insurance will likely be cheaper than the rest too!!!

I would want something different for my brother so when he's gone I can drive it. My previous car was a B5 S4 and i wouldn't recommend that unless you put aside 5000 for a turbo replacement. My friends have STI and Evo and they are nice (Edge goes to STI for a daily driver and EVO for a modded car) and C5 are great cars also. Problem is I hate GM interiors but at least the motor is strong and easy to mod.
