I am so excited! I finally picked up a 2006 Enth. 350Z on Saturday. WOW...this car is so much better than I even imagined! I love it...and so does the wifey! :-)

I got Black/Black...with the 5-speed auto. Came with:

Yeah, the wife's 2006 Murano has the Intelligent Key. Wish the Z had it too! Oh well... :-)

Congrats, and welcome to the forums. What did you drive before and how does this compare?

 

Well, feel free to laugh...I was driving a 1998 Buick LeSabre. :-) But don't worry, I didn't willingly purchase that vehicle. It was a family hand me down that I was driving for awhile during the time that my wife and I were purchasing our house...one less loan to show up on the credit reports. Before the LeSabre I drove a 1999 BMW M-Coupe...one hell of a fun car. Tracked it often. Before that was a 2000 BMW 323Ci, a 1979 BMW 323i, and a 1983 BMW 320i (my first car). I also bought my wife a 2002 BMW 325i and a 2005 Honda Civic. We traded the Civic in on the Murano 2 months ago.

So to answer your question...there is NO comparison between my previous car (the Buick) and the Z! hehe...but between the M-Coupe and the Z, it's a close call! Both are fabulous driver oriented vehicles built for speed and cornering.

The keyfob you see hanging from the key is actually the one for my wife's 2006 Murano SL. It came with the Nissan Intelligent Key...(wife loves it, never has to go into her purse to get the keys out)

My 2006 Z came with the standard key. I wish the Z had Intelligent Key, but I'll live with the "old" way of starting the car...

No mods planned at this point. I think I may at some point do the PopCharger and the clear front reflectors. Other than those two...it's gonna stay pretty much stock.

Actually it's Magnetic Black for 2006...has a metallic flake in the paint. Looks great (as long as I can keep it out of these Arizona dust storms! haha)!
