Why would there be even a choice between the 2 cars. An 02' SS is a POS with a good engine. My friend has one and the entire thing is falling apart.

Haha, you think we might all be a little predisposition towards the Z.

Anway welcome cltype-s. For the Z's lil quirks they are a lot of fun to drive, umm hard.

Buy the Z, it probably has a better driving feel and probably more fuel efficent than the Camaro SS (which i'm assuming is similar to our Commodore SS's), also would be a lot lighter than the Camaro.

An idea is to take both cars out for a test drive and see which one YOU prefer to drive in the conditions in which you drive, such as if you like driving in the hills, take them both out in the hills etc and see which is the better car.

Best of luck with your decision........obviously, if you are posting here you are already "falling" for the Z.....so go buy one

One thing that I've always done is test drive what ever the car is I'm thinking of buying more than once, preferably in different weather, both dry and wet. A well set up Zed can become a different beast in the wet, depending on tyres, and also don't just drive one, drive a few of whatever you select. Shop around.

I've driven 14 350's now, and each one brand spanking new or not, has it's own lil quirk.
