Hey everybody,

I just bought my first Z . I grew up in Okinawa and had a Nissan Silvia. I had a Jetta here, but it recently committed suicide. Finally got to go back to Nissan. I'm picking it up on Tuesday, let me know what you think:

The only things I'm planning on changing are the shift **** (Nismo black aluminum), fixing some light body damage (it's been keyed in several places), and maybe painting the wheels gloss black instead of the flat. If anyone else has any suggestions I'll listen, although I'm trying to keep the expenses down.

I don't think it has the Bose system (I don't see the logo anywhere, btu I don't know if it's supposed to be there), but it sounded pretty damn good to me. It could easily vibrate the windshield with the bass which surprised me for a stock stereo. Maybe I'm just not very discriminating!

FYI, you bought a Performance. You don't have Bose. If you say the stereo sounds good, the previous owner must have upgraded the speakers and added an amp.

the is wing ok....dont like the offset hole at the front or the exaust....and those rims HAVE to go....other than that very niceeee

btw, I love the wing! Look me up if you decide to sell, I have the nismo wing, and really don't like it anymore.

 

Thanks for the info on the stereo. I will let you know if I take it off the spoiler. It has a front lip that bolts on too, it's off because it scraped going in and out of the dealer's lot. I got a good deal (I hope), 15.9, 17k OTD after TTL and all that BS.

I'm sort of a military brat, mom is a DoDDS teacher.

Welcome trashcan, odd angles the exhaust is on. Bizarre. Anyway, enjoy and I like the wing, rice or no rice.
