Hi
Just introducing myself and my 350Z.
I have lived overseas for many years, my last stint being in Hong Kong where I owned a number of motors, including 4 BMWs, the last of which was an 850. I had my eye on the 350Z at the time, but was still in love with the 8.
I moved to Abu Dhabi in July 2005, but due to visa problems was not able to get my driving licence until 20th December. I found it was not possible to drive a RHD car in the UAE, so I reluctantly sold the 8. I had been pondering buying a 350Z or a Chevy Corvette and visited the Nissan dealer as soon as I had my licence. There was a black Grand Touring in stock and I gave it a test drive, I wanted to drive it all night, but the dealer insisted we head back to the showroom, he really wanted to get out of that car as I had been giving it a real test!
I was hooked and didn't show up for the appointment with the Chevy dealer.
I picked up the car on Dec. 25th.
It is 11 months old now with 28,000 kms on the clock and far too many scratches on the paintwork caused by jealous passersby.
For the last 3 months I have been driving to Dubai (150 km each way) on a daily basis and regularly take it up to 242 kph on a particular stretch of road which is 20 km long without radar speed traps and absolutely no traffic. I must get rid of the electronic speed limiter at some time!
I love the car, but the bodywork needs some TLC as soon as I have time.

Welcome aboard, I'm a newbie here as well. We got a white roadster. 2 days after we got it had to get some wheels. Got 20" Volk GTC's. I bought it for my GF but I'm modding it for her. . . actually for me
