Hey. New here. I don't own a Z but I respect them and I like 'em.

Came here to meet people, talk cars, and talk Z's.

Currently own an 06 boxster

Enjoy your Z's

I just wanna say you guys seem like the most down to earth people I've seen on any forum thus far, and I am a member on A LOT of forums.

Most forums, I get treated like a "noob" and my ideas are always bashed or over-looked, but I've just been here 1 day and people actually respect each other and give each other input.

It's not corny either, like some sites provide corny environments where everyone compliments each other about everything and kisses butts.

This forum is what I like to call "IRL", meaning realistic lol

Ha, screw my ride. You have a 996 turbo...and a Z! But I do have some.

These were taken in my apartment outside my school.

This one was taken outside my house with the spoiler out. Commute home on week ends.

Just bought the car a week ago, brand new

Now post me some pics of YOUR rides. Both of em.

Nice boxster.....and no I'm not complimenting just to compliment.

Stick around man, you'll realize there are many non-Z owners, all-around car enthusiasts and unfortunately a few biased fan-boy arseholes on this site.

For the most part, it's a good place to be so WELCOME.

Mike,
nice ride man. What are your mod plans for the boxter?? If you're interested, I know of a place where you start off by gettin clear corners and a silver hood badge. I dont have any pics at my office, but when I get home I'll post some pics.

Zephyr,
love your avatar. . .

Welcome to the forum Bavaria. If you hang around here long enough, you might find yourself a proud owner of a zed too. Nice Porsche too by the way.

Thanks everyone. I really do love my car. She's an attention *****, though lol.

MOD PLANS: I don't care for appearance mods...I feel like, and this is personal opinion, that appearance mods on cars over 15k can look juvenile if not done properly.

I do want performance mods, but I can hardly find any for the 987...mostly just the 986

If I hear enough good things, I may just go test drive a Z sometime

BTW, this is the best reply list I've gotten for an intro thus car. Nice group of people here.

My neighbor has a boxter. Its tiny (well im big ) but it drives nice. Did you get the ceramic brakes option? Those are some DAMN good brakes.

I didn't get the ceramic brakes...I bought one of their last 06s, so my choices weren't broad.

Here's options:

Premium sound system
Bi-xenons
18" boxster S wheels
full leather interior
heated seats

And I think that's it.

Just in case some of you are in the market, it was 52k msrp and I got it for 40k.

So anyways I think I am going to buy a premier membership here. I love it here

Z people own.
