Default New ride!!!

yo guys i just bought my Z.

its an 04 Track 6spd that i bought 3 days ago.

i was just wondering what should be my first mod? i love the car hah

i was thinkin the intake should maybe be the first mod but any suggestions on which?
i saw that the popcharger has reall good reviews and performance for the price its sellin for. but i saw someone say in a thread that it kills the car in neutral while driving highway speeds. i dont need that hah. just started drivin stick too.

thanks guys

if you're new to driving a stick.. then just enjoy the car for now. Or you could start with some nice wheels. Wheels are a quick way to have your car looking nice. also, tinted windows maybe?? hmm, an exhaust? i'd go with appearance mods until you are used to the car.

Yea popcharger is something thats pretty good for the money. Its worth it just for the sound (thats all it really does anyway). I still dont understand why the hell anyone would put their car in neutral at freeway speeds anyway. I have the pop charger and I love it.

yeah ive been gettin the hang of it. the only hard thing at first was that the clutch hits really high in this car and im pretty talll. so its like i gotta lift my whole leg up and sometimes i'd pass through the clutch too fast without enough gas. u know how it is.

yeah i was thinkin about tints real soon. but any suggestions on wheels? i like spokes. if u can gimme a link on a few wheels u think the car would like nice in that's be great dude. thanks alot

How does that have anything to do with height? You think a shortie doesn't have to lift his foot to step on the clutch? Just teasing you. I know exactly what you mean. If you do a quite search, you'll find threads that talk about how to lower the clutch. I thought about doing it, but got lazy and started to get used to the high clutch anyway.

Get some WORK Meister S1 from Rick from Status Auto Design! Of course, I could be biased.

I would say, practice driving stick, then worry about performance mods.

If not, then wheels and tints are always a good choice

Cheers,

Seeing that you live in Illinois get some snow tires if this is your daily driver. If not, the Motordyne spacer is a great bang for the buck mod. Once spring rolls around, get some wheels.
