Default Worst Expierence Ever

Hey everyone i think this is my second post...

i wanted to warn everyone about fontana nissan, the people who work there both in sales and service hell even finance are the most incompitent people alive. ( i know i spelled incompitent wrong, i went to public school hahaha)

i have to vent, so here goes..

Day 1

I picked the car up on 12/4: sat at the dealership for 5 hours trying to work a deal handed of to 5 sales people, but i liked the car, it was everything i wanted and more ( 2006 Grand Touring 350 with the RAYS wheels, and an aftermarket Eclipse nav unit). so saturday the deal was not working. I leave because its my wifes Bday.

Day 2

They call me in the am ask me to come in, i tell them no because the handoff's and the hastle, yada yada, the general manager Richard comes on the phone, and tells me come in he will handle the deal, and to bring in my Type R for a trade in he will take care of it personally. I say ok and go on a ride, get there at like 5:30, with my trade in's strike a good deal i got the car for 36 k + tax and lic, when sticker was 42 w/ nav. plus my trade in's and like 4 k in neg equity. yada yada with a payment at 701 a month, @ 7% 84 mo ( i just want the lowest payment, the car is going to be paid half off in 2 months, so i just wanted to keep my monthley to a min). we sign and take off. half was out of the dealer, i smash on it and BOTH seats fall back. WTF
noticed my seats are not bolted in. Told the sales person and he gives me the classic sales line, we will fix it.

Day 3

upon taking the car home, i start complaining about the brakes, and how dirty the wheels keep getting, start to wipe them off, and noticed one of my wheels is cracked, and my tire is slashed. another thing to add to the board, after finding my brand new car's seats we not installed.

day 4

To add more stress to this purchase, i bought the car a week before i moved back up to nor cal, so i had to get all this fixed before i left, Friday I have a service appt, to have the car acid washed (to removed water spots), seats to be fixed ( because i told them what is wrong, parts are supposed to be ordered), and wheel to be replaced via warrenty. so i get there tell them what is wrong, the service guy thinks im bull****ting him, and was like why would we take the seats out, i look at him and say well they would I, we go back and forth.

he tell me he needs the car for about 5 hours, so another day wasted.
with no loner car.
now we get to the wheel, the whole time, i am telling them, hey my wheel is cracked, and the response is we will take care of it, blah blah blah. until they say what wheels i had, and the price tag, then they start to play with me.

well you took delivery of the car with that on it, and i said yes i did but it was 10 o clock at night and freezing outside, and you pushed me to take the car home i wanted to leave it and have it detailed before i leave, you didnt want to give me a loner car. so after another wasted day going back and forth with the sales mgr, they agree to fix it, and i said as long as i dont see it as being fixed i am ok, i want a brand new tire, if i can see it has been fixed i want a brand new wheel and tire, now the punch line, we need the car overnight, i ask them to swap the wheel, and they tell me no its against the law, so what am i to do, i leave the car, they hesitate on giving me a loner, but finally i get one.

day 6 Saturday (my move day)

cant get a hold of my service advisor, i was supposed to leave by 10 am, he calls me at 3 and says guess what i came through for you, i got you a new wheel, WTF ???? they swapped it. i go an pick up the car.

1 seats are not fixed
2 wheel is fixed
3 car is filthy.

lets move to today, i get a call on monday asking me about my financing, and they tell me that i had a 10 day option, and i responded to them no you told me if i took your financing i didnt have that option, we argue it has now been 30 days and they are just telling me this.

they want to raise the cars price, up my payments 830 and want me to come in with 1600.

my response was come and get the car, for an 830 payment, im gonna go get a mercedez or lexus something that i can at least say i have an 800 payment and something to show for it.

he goes onto work numbers, to this day we are still up in the air, my tradeins are not paid off, so i had to make payments on them, and my seats and all are still not fixed...

i called nissan to file a complaint, and their response was sir what would you like nissan to do about it. customer service goes along way huh

the dealership, is retarted, they are like just bring it back and we can call it a day you can have your cars back and we have ours.

I traded in a integra type r, making almost 500 whp, that car has been joyridden and is probally blown up, i cant take that thing back.

Sorry for such the long post, i just needed to vent...... i guess im gonna go drive my 1000 doller a month Z hahahahahha.,

Ouch.. that's pretty bad dude! I don't even know what to say to you. Good luck! My worst experience was when I took my car in for the fuel hose recall. They kept my car for 4 freaking days and the car was filthy when I picked it up. Nissan dealerships are just horrible in general!

You would think a brand new car would go off the lot in exactly brand new condition. Odd.

Sometimes you just have to trust that first instinct, it's usually correct.

Good luck with getting everything sorted out.

Anything in Fontucky is just bad to begin with. Metro in Redlands has been nothing but great. Sorry for your experience though.

i say.... burn every car and that dealership to the GROUND! it looks like they knew about everything wrong with it and thats why they did it at night and basically pushed you in the car. i dont car if the dealership is full of nissans, they are mass produced. LETS BURN THIS **** DOWN!

if that happened to me i would have like atleast 10 lawsuits for aggrievated assault and i would drag the "sales manager" via bungee-cord from the back of your new Z!

ive got an 06, but i REALLY want those rays wheels. they are too sick!!!

i hope the car ends up being a good thing and not a COMPLETE disaiopntment.

i would take the chances on getting your old car back and giving them back the Z...sounds like a shady deal all around. not too mention even 36k seems way too high for an 06 IMO. The 07's are coming out as I speak. wait a few months and get a left over 06 for under 30K. You should be able to get the car for just over invoice.

edit: dont let them push you around....but the brake dust thing you cant really complain about, thats just how it is...you can easily switch them out for low dust pads for like $120 or so.

This easily qualifies for The Dealer From Hell Award.

$701 x 84 = $58,884. Did you get one or two 350Zs?

sounds like a sh!ty deal! If I were you I'd get your cars back and let them have the Z. If they've damaged your cars then make them pay for the damage they've done. Your payments are way too much. In the end you are going to make out 1000x better!

No offense but it looks like you were taken in every aspect of the deal. Chalk it up as a lesson learned. Looks like you are stuck with the Z and the Porsche payments,

As far as the brake dust goes, thats normal!

Dealers love deals like yours, they get you everytime! Next time, work the price, then already come with a bank pre-approval loan with the locked interest rate, hmmmmkayyyyyy!

Traded in a 500 HP car? Thats not smart, bet you got raped there!
