Went down well, got more for my trade than I was expecting, one wheel did have a scratch so they pulled one off another new Z, the passenger door had a "door ding" in it, they will have it repaired in a few weeks and the cover for the roof had a few scratches that will also be repaired. I am always flabergasted on how cars are treated before they are sold. Our salesman was the best I have ever dealt with and we have bought and sold about 20 cars. The mods are getting ready to begin.

 

Congratulations on the zed. They look so good in the black.

Oh, by the way, are those stock variant car mats? I've never seen those before. Depending on how hard/soft the mats are might damage the back of your shoes, especially your right foot.

We too had a great salesman, but had an a-hole in the finance department.
He was just upset because we said NO to everything he offered.

Anyway, you mention a cover for your roof had a scratch.
Mine didn't come with a cover. Was it an option? Do I need it?

Tripleblack, I think youmight have understood me, the part of the car that covers the roof when you put it down had some scratches. In between the humps.
That is to bad about your finance guy, ours was cool as heck, all he did was the paperwork, in fact I said to him, " aren't you going to try and sell me an extended warranty", he said I don't think you need it,(he also owns a 350) I then told him, "I never buy them anyway"LOL, we usually don't keep cars long enough.
I am working on my first mod tonight...I am painting the calipers red, they will look bada_ _. I did my Vette when I had it and it really made a difference. I will post pics of the calipers tomorow evening. I have two more coats to put on.
Hey man, I don't know how much of a car guy you are and I don't mean to insult your intelligence but make sure you check your air pressure in your tires. Mine were at 46lbs. Dealers NEVER check that and most manufacturers pump the tires way up for transport.
We have been cruising around alot too. We always put the top down, I know people are saying we are nuts because it is pretty cold. I will say also yuou get alot of people checking you out in this car, almost as much as when we had our Vette.
I need to get me a car cover too, I am not going to spend alot on one because it stays in the garage, but the dust is a killer. Do you have a California duster yet...if not you are going to need it for this black car.

Love that car!!!! I am going to order the Stillen wing this week and the popcharger. What are you ordering???? Gotta mod it out a bit. Calipers are almost dry.
