Default Question On A Nav System For An 05

How much would a Navigation system, screen, receiver, ect, be for a 2005 350z?

I hate that huge cubby hole area...want to spice things up.

Anyone know where I can get one

im just curious on price....

I found a nice system on ebay for $599 + shipping but is that over priced, a good price, or a normal price?

I got my Pioneer AVIC-D2 on Ebay, new, for $830 shipped, which I thought to be a good deal. What kind did you find?

Most places that install wont install in the "cubby". Personally, I got the new Valor entertainment center installed where my radio was and put a 7" screen in the cubby. I split screen them so that i can use navigation and watch movies, tv, etc at the same time. It looks pretty sweet....
It cost me 1500 for the navi, and 200 for the screen w/rear camera.
I believe normal price for this setup is about 2900 for navi and 400 for the screen and 200 for the camera.
Eclipse also has good navi, and it starts around 2500

I would say that a good new setup will run you somewhere in the $1500 range, but if you're ebaying, somewhere closer to $800-900. Personally, I have a head unit with 7" screen where the radio was. The pocket you get from installing single DIN head units looks retarded to me. I use the cubby for the ipod and computer plug in. I also keep my garage door opener in there. The ipod stays up there nicely.
