As far as styling for the Fit goes, I liked the way it was a step up from the rest of the econo cars. And I liked the handling and the response off the line. But lets face it, I did not buy it for performance - even though I thought it out performs others in it's class - I bought it as a "practical" choice. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted something sporty, different, and peppy off the line, and good on gas. What impressed me the most was the different configurations of the interior (Honda's "Magic Seats"). To answer another one ealier who asked me about the fit (Zpak), yes you could sleep in the thing with an air mattress if you please. Little car with a BIG HEART - huge on the inside..... But not enough to keep me from my dream of a Z, which has now come true..... (sigh of joy)

Hey - Nice set up you got there! My friend took mercy on me and gave me a K&N today to replace the stock air filter. Sounds a little throatier.......

LOL - you have a point. One would think that the paddle shifters would not be needed for the Fit. HOWEVER - when getting on the highway (short on ramp) they come in handy because sometimes you need extra pep in a hurry and the shifters seem easier to click than otherwise flooring the throttle...... Otherwise, you don't really need them. I did use them quite often though in attempts to pass people, which generally didn't happen

AHEM - this is no longer a problem.....

My girlfriend has a Fit. Man I love that car. Steering on that car feels great. So does the interior enviroment. Weak as hell though.

I thought I was being a bit unpractical when I bought the Z. Now, because I drive so much on rural roads, I realize the Z was an extremely practical decission. I love driving this car.
