Congrats on the new ride man.

As for the research, do what i did and read as many of these posts as you can. Want power? check out motor stuff, Looks? interrrior and exterrior sections. You are not to far from me in SC so also check out the regional forums. NC has a big following.
O and if you get flack take it with a grain of salt. Most of the people worked there a$$ of to get there Z (including me and mine is on order and not hear yet )and you were given just given one . So with that said don't be suprized if you need a flame suite people will give you a hard time but stay mature about it and don't prove them right.

Cheers

Kevin

So many things to do for this car. Just be careful with your car man. At 16 years old you should really take your time to learn your car before getting crazy in it. Drive it like it's made out of glass for about 2 months.

. . .As far as engine/kits/wheels. . . .just visit different areas of this forum and you'll definitely have more than enough options to choose from. Have fun and congrats.

Turn hat around. After that check out the picture share forum, if you see something you like save up and get it. And stay away from 20+ inch rims.

Turbo, bodykit, woofers and save for tires.

JK. Buy some blind spot mirrors at least, for real. Safe driving! One day I will own one myself!

Yeah. I've had my Z for almost a month now, and I have to say that I love it. Lately I have been trying to find stuff to add on to it. I wanted to know some opinions on these rims I was looking at. Do you think they would go well on a Z? And if not, what rims would you suggest??

It looks like the front bumper is slightly off color from the rest of the car. Has the front bumper been repainted? fender bender?

No, I think it may just be the old pictures because I can't tell up close. I will post some new ones. But yeah, about those rims...you think they would go good?

first of all young man, pull those horrible pants up your waist, secondly welcome to the damn forums. Youre gonna waste alot of time here, but its worth it. If youre looking to put $ into your Z right away, my "suggestion" is to knock out the breathable mods. do your search and see what suits you best. Dont forget to pick up women in your new ride.

the rims are fugly and you will be made fun of, period. i know you are 16 and yes other 16 year old's might think they are "cool" but you'll look back one day and think "wtf was i thinking?!?!?!" 16 year olds usually want to go for the wow factor before getting something that has a "clean" look about them. if you like the Z's from the F&F tokyo underground or any other car from any F&F series then you need to hold off on buying anything cosmetic for your car for at least 2 to 3 years. second, dont waste your money on mods. honestly our cars suck at adjusting to breathing mods such as intakes, headers, cats/test pipes and catback exhausts. our ecu's tend to put a pooper on anything we throw at it. get yourself a JWT popcharger and call it a day. its really doesnt do much but sounds badass. if you really really really have to buy wheels and kit, make sure you have 2 to 3k saved for wheels and tires and at least 2k for a decent replica kit with paint and install. honestly at 16, you really dont need to be spending that kind of money on your car. if you really really really need to buy them, take your time, read up on everything, look at hundreds of pictures and budget everything out. enjoy.

This guys seem's to cocky and can't take a joke. Id stomp his *** like he owed me money if he just went off on me like that. 16 and a Z that just insane. Don't make us all look like a bunch of fools, odds are you end up crashing that thing in a month showing off.

dude he's a 16 year old with his V card what do you expect. Nevertheless, we shouldnt hate because hes not appreciating what we (most of us) worked so hard for and are now enjoying. He's got nothing to look forward to if he actually does finish school given that he dosent wrap it around a tree.
Just my 2 cents. Dont mean to be brute. His parents just love him, or had enough of his nagging. either way. I just blew of some steam. Thanks 350z.com ! hahaha

lol I sense a lot of jealousy in this thread. Those rims arent that great looking I'd recommend to stay with some name brands such as volks/rays/ssrs/etc.. some extra $$$ but quality and look is def. worth it. Also starting a thread saying you got a Z on ur 16th birthday wasn't really necessary for what you asked for. If you don't want to get bashed then you should just of searched or lessen the bashing by taking out the fact you got it on your 16th bday.

I (personally) am not showing jelousy, this is just an opinion: I think he came of wrong with what you said "16 year bday" and the fact that hes grilling the camera with his gay *** wardrobe. I mean its not unecessary. I think its great for him to have a Z. Theres not Fu$%$ age limit/restriction of a freken piece of metal (car). Its how you portray yourself when having one. He needed to be more humble in his introduction. My 2 cents again.
