RAYS for half price
My dealer has offered to compensate me for ordering the wrong interior on my 2007 GT roadster. He ordered black rather than frost leather. I am willing to wait to get the color combination that I ordered. As the GT roadster does not come with Rays, as does the coupe, I suggested that a set of these wheels, and appropriate tires, at his expense would mollify my displeasure. He agreed to split the cost with me for the upgrade.
My dealer, a well-known western Connecticut shop with a racing heritage, can’t seem to figure out how to compute the value of the stock wheels and tires when subtracting this amount from the wholesale value of the new Rays and tires.
1) Can anyone help me with this calculation?
2) Assuming that they are unwilling to assume the stock rims and tires into their parts inventory, I was considering keeping them and selling them to someone on this board. Any suggestions as to a fair price?

Damn it! I thought you where selling.
I pre-ordered my 2006 the very first day pre-ordering was open back in 2005. I tried to get them to put the RAYS on my Roadster, but they said it was not going to happen.
Arghh, at this point I'm considering getting the Nismo LMGT4s. Technically they are cheaper than buying the stock RAYS brand new.

Many thanks for your comments.
My dealer is ordering the correct car for me and will compensate me for my additional waiting time. We have not yet finalize the "compensation;" therefore, do any of you have any suggestions regarding what else I might ask for? The car is already fully loaded with all available options plus sway bars, after market Blue Tooth, clear bra, extended warranty, high-end security system. I am an very good customer, having purchased two new Muranos there over the past 18 months for my wife and daughter. My price for the '07 was just $300 over invoice, so there is not a lot a room to move there. Moreover, my wife won't notice add-ons that come with the car when it is delivered. If I add "unnecessary" modifications later ...... that might be a problem.

In order to not let them eat you on the pricing (you never know their retailer cost)... You can ask them for just a set of the RAYS rims and you will take care of the tires yourself.
