New Z Owner
I just wanted to introduce myself to the forums and let you guys know that I have recently put a deposit down on a 2006 PPW enthusiast Z.
The search for the right vehicle was not as easy as I thought it would be... and sure enough these forums were an invaluable resource for me and prevented me from making some terrible mistakes. (I can't believe someone actually makes a car without cruise control!)
The car is in FL but I am in Texas and I cant pick it up until thursday. So naturally I am writing this at 4:00am with little intention of sleeping until it is safely in my garage.
Again, thanks for the great wealth of info, and I look forward to joining the fam.

I have decided to spend my sleepless nights posting/discussing the first few things I will be adding to my new Z. Below is a list of the first few mods im going to tackle:
-Front License Plate Bracket (Stillen Bracket or Zee Bracket)
-Stock Spoiler $250 Here
-Tan Leather Seats (still researching this one...)
-Ipod Interface Cheap and easy
And then when time is on my side...
-Car PC Great Thread Here (im a big computer nerd so this gets me all giddy)
Also... any recommendations on how to get some sleep!?

Hey man once you get your Z you need to check out the regional forum. We have a good number of local Dallas Z guys that meet monthly. Hope to see you out!!
I sat on the airplane and just stared at my watch for the entire flight. Apparently that doesnt make the time pass by any faster. Here she is...

(somebody parked their red beater next to me at the hotel lol)

I am one happy camper. (IT consulting has given me this wonderful tan... LOL)

We had to stay and enjoy the white-sandy beaches for a day. After all, its spring break and I'm in Daytona beach!
After spending the night in Pensacola and visiting the Naval Aviation Musem, we hit the road and began the journey home to Texas.

Here she is in my driveway back home in Dallas. I couldn't help but to stop and take a pic midway through cleaning.

I must have murdered a million bugs on the way home. At one point in Louisiana, I thought it started raining so I hit the windshield wipers. However it was not raining water, but rather insects. Pretty bizzare really...

Of course I had to bring her inside to hide from the weather.

That about does it. Its been a long sleepless wait but its finally here and it was well worth the wait!
Cant wait to see some of you out on the road.

Thanks man
Daytona beach was cool. We didn't hang around for very long because of bike week. (Ive never seen so many motorcycles in one place at one time) But we swung by Dade as well as the Destin area on our way out. I have seen many coasts in my life... but those beaches in western FL are some of the most beautiful in the world.
Yes that is our airplane in the picture. It is a 1942 Stinson Gullwing Reliant. It served in India back in WW2 and was passed down to my father from my grandfather in the early 60's. We also own a stinson 108 project that is FAR from flying and a little aerobatic RV-4 that is getting an annual.
Let me know if you want to see some more pics of the 'real' toys and I'll be happy to post.
