Here is a pic the dealer sent me... notice the passenger side front bumper.



Ive had 3 people swear to me that this is some crazy shadow or an illusion. The only reason I believe them is because these bumpers are made of fiberglass (right?) and fiberglass doesnt dent... it cracks. Im about to travel a little over 900 miles to pick this car up, so I would really appreciate anyone's input.

 

Just ask them to take another picture?

 

It's plastic and can dent...if it were dented they would just push it back out I'm sure...

 

The front bumper is not made of fiberglass. It is made of urathane. SO there is a possibility that it is a dent. Just ask for a new pic.

 

I did... she told me she would take another pic before she leaves for the day.


So all I can do now is wait.

 

The rest of the car looks great. I just hope the camera is playing tricks on me.

Shadow are you stupid??? Let me put that kind of shadow on your car then. That's dent! The front bumper is made of polyurethane

and btw, very timely and honest response from the dealer... (wtf)

 

I don't care if it's made of cheese, there is a shadow effect accross it that makes it look like a pair of dents.
When the OP posts a new picture, if I am wrong, I will somehow include my stupidity in my signature or something.....what will you do if it's just a shadow?

Wow. That was a tough one to call. I was leaning more towards it being a dent.
That just goes to show, things aren't always as they are perceived.

 

Well the new pic above looks good, but we wont really know untill I see it with my own eyes. Hell, the dealer could be really good with photoshop. I doubt it but I will never put ANYTHING past a car salesman.

Yes, I put a deposit down on the car and the check is in the mail. This is why I was freaking out. Oh well, everything looks good now.

If its a dent I recommend Ding King.... Its so ****ing easy to use and it doesnt stick to the paint at all as long as you wait the recommended 5 mins and do the application in 60 degree or less weather or out of the sun...

 

Dealer just called me again to make sure I got his email with the new picture. He has called me three times today regarding this matter. Im very pleased with the customer service and I expect a flawless car when I arrive.
