Default K&N Drop-In Filter for 2007s?

Hey guys,
I'm new to the 350z and am not sure about this:
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=33-2031-2

According to K&N's website, that filter is for 2007 350z's. Does anyone know if this comes with two filters or would we have to buy two different packages? Also, isn't this the same filter for 2006's? Aren't 2007's filters smaller than 2006's?

Thanks in advance.

Why waste your money on this? I'm sure they will come out with some type of dual CAI in a month or two, I would just wait for that. my.02

I just spoke with a K&N representative regarding a filter element for 2007 350Z's. According to K&N, the part number I posted above is NOT for 2007 350Z's! They have yet to make one. Thanks you guys for your advice and input. The reason I am investigating the K&N drop-in filter vs. CAIs is because of prior experience with intakes. Intakes usually don't produce much gains in HP, if any they are way up in the RPM range. Some intake kits also, have been proven not only to not produce HP but to actually cost HP. A "generic" or poorly deisgned intake will suck hot air or cause idle problems, or even stalling! It has been my experience, although I am new to the 350Z, I have owned a 300ZXTT and still own a RX8, as well as many other modified import and domestic cars, that a well designed OEM air box is hard to improve upon. A drop-in filter will give more air flow as well as produce the "nice" intake sound most look for and on top of it all--at $35-$65, is much incer on my wallet vs. a $200-$300 CAI. Besides, if I should ever want to go F/I, a CAI would be a waste of money anyways.

My theory on the new "twin-intakes" of the 2007 models are to prep the engine for R&D for Twin Turbo, sometime in the future.

Anyways, waiting for new parts for this car is nice because it reminds me how new the car actually is. But then again, it sucks because I'm afraid I may just "jump on" the first mods available and find out that better mods come about a few years later. Right now, I'd like to get SS lines for my brakes & clutch. Does anyone know if 2006 SS lines would work for the 2007 models?

Thanks in advance.

I got a K&N drop-in for my '04 when I got it. CAI's aren't worth it at all imo...the only gains worth noting are in noise.

Only time I'd get one is if I replaced everything - header, exhaust etc
