he's awake but he talks like a kid...I'm sure his vocal chord is not 100% and plus being out of it for 7 months will do a number to ALL the muscles in your body...he doesn't sleep much anymore, not like when he was first getting up and going back to a short coma...he's fully awake and remembers the wreck...

I hope he will be in good shape pretty soon.

That's fantastic that he's out of coma. It's almost a pity that he remembers the wreck. Something that will probably stay with him the rest of his life. Hopefully he doesn't suffer any long term effects.
I'm sure we all hope that no one else in our community befalls this type of accident. Take care out there.

dude reading this makes me sick inside. I feel for the kid man. Its like he's lost a year of his life or something. I really really hope he makes it through. its nice to see that so many Z owners, car lovers, whatever, have good wishes for a guy in that predicament.
MeetJoeAsian : dude u are a great guy. I'll be praying for him.

ok--so i thought i would throw in my 2 cents on this thread.
1. there are some mean/heartless people on this site
2. the driver was a HUMAN that made a mistake and will pay for it for the
rest of his life
3. this thread should be required reading from begining to end for all new Z
owners (young, old, experienced, inexperienced, EVERYONE, etc)
4. let this experience be a lesson to all..
i personally found this thread to be very SOBERING and has caused me to take heed and realize this thing could happen to anyone. i am not saying the drivers irresposibility did not contribute to the outcome. but for crying out loud this is a human being that mad a mistake. ragging on him and talking **** about him does nothing but pour salt on an already EXTREMELY bad wound. my heart goes out to him, his family, and anyone that knows him.
i hope he recovers well and gets a new Z one day, but use a little more caution and appreciation for his machine.
one last thing to all the smack talkers in this thread, one word: KHARMA!!!
